• "Superior" FIRST Ratings in 2014

FIRST Greenville ISD received a “Superior Achievement” rating under the state’s Schools FIRST financial accountability rating system. The “Superior Achievement” rating is the state’s highest rating that can be obtained by a school district, demonstrating the quality of GISD’s financial management and reporting systems. “We are very pleased with Greenville ISD’s Schools FIRST rating,” said Greenville ISD Superintendent Donald Jefferies “as it shows that our district is making the most of our taxpayers’ dollars.  This rating shows that Greenville’s schools are accountable not only for student learning, but also for achieving these results cost-effectively and efficiently.”
