If the weather's bad…..
If inclement weather makes it necessary to close or delay school, an announcement will be issued from the Superintendent's Office to local and Dallas/Fort Worth media outlets no later than 5:30 a.m. the day of closure or delay.
Bad weather closure information is posted on the district’s website, delivered to local radio stations KGVL 1400 AM and KIKT 93.5 FM as well as Dallas television stations, which also post closure information on their websites. Closure or delay information is also delivered via e-mail to approximately 1,500 subscribers of the district’s “E-News Extra” electronic newsletter.
