Whereas the focus of Greenville Sixth Grade Center is to help students make the transfer from elementary school to secondary education, the challenge of Greenville Middle School takes that a step further.

GMS, 3611 Texas Street, aims to provide an environment conducive to learning in a way that allows students and teachers to be challenged and empowered, so that they may achieve their maximum potential.

Students at GMS have the opportunity to take a variety of courses. The school offers electives such as choir, piano, band, keyboarding, art, computer literacy, athletics, industrial technology, life management skills, theater arts, photography and Spanish.

With a dedicated staff and group of energetic students, neither of which are afraid to experiment, GMS continues the steps toward a successful secondary education.
