Houston Education Center
Greenville Independent School District aims to meet the needs of all students, at every level of education. This district-wide determination ensures that all students have an equal opportunity to grow physically, emotionally, and intellectually; however, the Houston Education Center, created and designed specifically to address the unique needs of secondary students, offers Greenville ISD students alternative education - an environment in which education is truly individualized on a self-paced, product-orientated basis for all students.
Houston Education Center encompasses several educational entities: New Horizons, Hunt Count Juvenile Detention Center, Glen Oaks, all GAEP entities, and Bright Beginnings Daycare Center.
