On Saturday, January 26^th, eight GMS Choir students competed in the Region IV Solo & Ensemble contest at Mt. Pleasant Junior High, earning eight, first division medals. All four 8^th graders (Emma Shasteen, Laura Foote, David Foote, and J.T. Foote) got a first division rating on their solos, with Laura, David and J.T. each earning a second medal for their trio. Out of the four 7^th graders who participated, Anna Wilkerson also earned a first division medal, with Dulce Fuentes, Astrid Geronimo and Cami Simmons receiving a second division rating on their solos in their first ever vocal competition. Congratulations to all eight GMS Choir students for wonderfully representing Greenville ISD at the Region IV contest.
