Greenville ISD just received word that two inmates escaped this morning from the Hopkins County Jail in Sulphur Springs. The inmates are dressed in plain clothes. While we have no evidence that they are headed this direction, all GISD campuses will be placed on external lock-down. Students and staff will remain in the building for the remainder of the day.
