The Greenville High School NJROTC Exhibition Drill Team participated in the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) meeting and awards ceremony. NJROTC’s Senior Naval Science instructor, Commander James Reed, and last year’s DAV scholarship recipient, Norma Ramirez, delivered speeches to the attendees. Commander Reed’s speech, “The young people of today are the future of our country,” spoke about youth and their valuable contributions to our great country. Commander Reed summarized his speech with a quote from John F. Kennedy, “Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country."
