On Wednesday, October 7^th, Greenville ISD hosted the first annual “Support Blue” event in celebration of local law enforcement. Hunt County law enforcement officers were invited to the Greenville Middle School where they were treated to a steak lunch cooked by Greenville ISD Superintendent, Don Jefferies. Over 100 officers were greeted by Greenville Middle School student council members and given thank you notes written by GISD elementary students. All other staff and students throughout the district donned blue attire to support the event as well.
