On Saturday, October 6^th, five Greenville Middle School students traveled to Longview to audition for the All-Region Middle School Mixed Choir. Three GMS students were selected for the All-Region Choir, with one more named an alternate. Laura Foote was selected 1st chair out of more than 50 altos who auditioned. Among the 50 sopranos who auditioned, Emma Shasteen was selected 4^th chair, Julie Hollister 10^th chair and Claire Hooper 11^th chair (qualifying as an alternate who can step in and replace any of the top ten sopranos if they are unable to perform).

On Saturday, October 13^th, four Greenville Middle School students traveled to Mt. Pleasant HS for the All-Region Cambiata Choir auditions, which is for 7^th grade girls and any young men (7^th or 8^th grade) with unchanged voices. With well over one hundred sopranos auditioning, 8^th grader David Foote made first chair. His brother, 8^th grader J.T. Foote, made seventh chair out of over one hundred altos.

Singers from both All-Region Choirs (MS Mixed and Cambiata) will travel to Mt. Pleasant HS for an all-day clinic and 5 p.m. concert on Saturday, November 3^rd.
