Congrats to team 4148C, The Iron Cowboys from GHS, who won the Garland VEX Texas State Robotics Championship this weekend in Garland. There were 57 teams competing. Along with the GHS team, The Omni Eagles, a home schooled team from Greenville, won the event as well. The Iron Cowboys (L to R) are Richard Hall, Raziel Ramirez, Stephen Hall, Jonathen Rea, Aiden Corrales and Jonathan McClellen.
Other teams from GHS (4148A Cassie Wilson, Ariel Taylor, and Tyler Berhens, 4148B Brain Adams and Bobby Osornio, and 4148D Ricky Steward, Tristan Swanzy and Brie Wiker) all made it to the quarterfinals.
