Mr. Easley's Forensics Students were asked to prepare a PowerPoint presentation for the class on the scientific process used in a major crime's investigation. 

Students studied criminals such as John Wayne Gacy, Richard Ramirez and Ted Bundy in evaluating the scientific process police used in ensuring a conviction in a court of law. 

The students gave a background on the criminal and the situations behind the crimes. Next, they determined hypotheses that police used in looking for evidence, and the proceedures they would have followed gathering the evidence. They concluded the presentations on how the criminals were convicted, and then shared the results of the trials. 

They learned terms such as odontology, serology, ABO System adn DNA testing. Later in the year, the students will be doing their own investigations.
