New Student Online Enrollment & Registration

  • Welcome to Greenville ISD!  We are excited to have you and your student in our district.  This page is to help you figure out which steps you will need to take to enroll your student(s) into our district.  

    First, we will need to determine if you are considered a "new" or "returning" student.

    1. Has your student ever attended a campus within Greenville ISD at any point in their schooling?

    Yes. - Then your student is considered "returning" and you will need to login to your parent access account and complete "Returning Registration".  If you have forgotten your login and password, no problem, at the bottom of the login page there is a link for a forgotten Login/Password.  If you still cannot login successfully, you can always contact the campus that your student will attend and they can help you log on.

    No. - Then your student is a new student and you will need to follow the steps below to complete the New Student Online Enrollment.

    2. Does your family have "new" and "returning" students?

    Since you already have a Skyward Parent Access Account, you can complete both from the same login.  Once you log in, you have the choice to either complete the "NEW Student to GISD" or the "Register Returning Students".  

    Second, for new students, after you enroll into our district through the New Student Online Enrollment Portal and take the required documents to the campus that your student will attend, you will then need to log back into your Parent Access account and register your student for the campus that they will be attending. 

     

    Setting Up Your Account

    1.  Is your family brand new to Greenville ISD?

    Because your family is new to Greenville ISD you will need to request a Skyward Parent Access Account.  In order to do that you will need a valid email address that you have access to.  Please use the link below to request a Skyward Parent Access Account.

    You will need to visit each campus that your students will attend with your required documentation:

    • Birth Certificate
    • Social Security Card
    • Current Immunization Record
    • Proof of Residency - Acceptable proof of residency is either a current utility bill (gas, electric or water) or a lease/mortgage agreement.
    • Parent ID

    After you have delivered all of the required documents to each campus that your students will attend and finished the Online Enrollment into Greenville ISD, you will need to log back into Skyward to register your child for the campus that they will attend.

     

    2.  Do you have a Skyward Parent Access Account with current students but also have a new student to enroll into Greenville ISD?

    For your new student, you will need to log into your Parent Access Account and click the button on the side that says "NEW Students to GISD".  Once you have submitted your application online, you will need to visit the campus that you child will attend with the required documents listed above.  Once your application has been approved and all required documents have been received, you will need to log back into Skyward Parent Access and register your student for the campus that they will attend.

     

    3.  Do you have to complete "Returning Registration" for your student every year?

    Yes. Returning Registration must be complete before your student will receive their schedule and or teacher.  To access your Parent Access Account, please click here.
