Maintenance Tax Note Projects




At the April 18 GISD board meeting, the Board of Trustees unanimously voted to move forward with issuing maintenance tax notes that will allow the district to proceed with much needed repairs, purchases and to expand current facilities.

The notes will be similar to a low interest loan in the approximate amount of $8 million that will allow GISD to repair/expand and/or purchase the items listed below. The payments for this will come out of the Maintenance and Operations Budget.
