Diagnostician
Primary Purpose: Implement evaluation duties for assigned campus(es) that will result in provision of services in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Qualifications: Master’s degree, three years teaching experience (special education preferred), valid Texas teacher’s certificate, Diagnostician Certification.

Speech Language Pathologist
Primary Purpose: Plan and provide speech-language pathology services to students with speech, voice or language disorders. Assess students and provide therapeutic intervention to eliminate or reduce problems or impairments that interfere with their ability to derive benefit from the educational program.
Qualifications: Master’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university and hold the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC/SLP). Also, must hold a valid Texas license as a speech-language pathologist granted by the State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology (SBESLPA) or bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology and hold a valid Texas Education Agency speech therapy certificate.

Speech Language Pathologist Assistant
Primary Purpose: To provide speech and language services and appropriate intervention services to eligible students under the direction of a licensed supervisor. To maintain speech and language special education records and documentation as directed by licensed supervisor.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited college or university, valid Texas License as a speech language therapy assistant granted by the Texas Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology. Minimum of 50 hours observation and direct clinical service as directed by the Assistant’s License requirements.

Licensed Specialist in School Psychology
Primary Purpose: Perform professional psychological work in assessment, behavior management, and counseling for students with emotional disabilities, learning disabilities, and behavioral problems. Assess the psychological and psycho-educational needs of students referred to special education services.
Qualifications: Master’s or Doctoral degree in psychology from accredited college or university. Current, valid license from the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP).
