Transition

Greenville Independent School District is committed to preparing all students for adult life in an inclusive and age-appropriate setting. GISD transition team work in collaboration with students with disabilities and their families.

The transition team supports students in the community and on the job by teaching skills needed to be successful in all areas of adult life. The mission is to work with businesses, community leaders, community college and adult agencies to help students develop a better quality of life in the areas of employment, independent living, personal recreation, adult education and community involvement.
