PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT OF REFERRAL PERIOD

Greenville ISD is now accepting referrals for students to be tested to qualify for the Gifted/Talented Program for the 2014 – 2015 school year. This referral window will close on December 31, 2013. This program is designed for students who exhibit intellectual and creative thinking abilities at an extraordinary level not normally served in the regular classroom. Services are provided only upon identification of education needs of the student. Anyone wishing to refer a student attending Greenville ISD in 1^st  through 5^th grade this school year is asked to go by the student’s campus office and request a copy of the referral form. Those unable to go by the school should call 903.217.8015 to request a form be sent to them. This form must be returned to the Gifted and Talented Office, 4004 Moulton, Greenville, Texas 75401 no later than December 31, 2013.

El distrito de Greenville está en el proceso de aceptar nominaciones para el Programa de Dotados y Talentosos para el año escolar 2014 – 2015.  Acabaremos de recibir nominaciones en el 31 de diciembre de 2013. El programa es para los estudiantes que muestran habilidades intelectuales y creativas en un nivel más alto que lo normal. Solo proveemos servicios al identificar las necesidades educativas del/la estudiante. Las personas a quienes les interesa nominar a un/a estudiante del 1 al 5 ͦ grado deben de pasar por la oficina de la escuela del/la estudiante y pedir una copia de la forma de nominar (referral form). Los quienes no puedan pasar por la escuela debe de llamar al numero 903.217.8025 para pedir que se les mande por correo. Tiene que devolver la forma a la oficina del Programa de Dotados y Talentosos ubicada en 4004 Moulton St., Greenville, TX 75401 no más tarde que el 31 de diciembre de 2013.
