GREENVILLE,TEX.-- The Golden K's of Greenville donated 12 brand new tricycles to L.P. Waters on Thursday, June 5th. The trikes were presented at a morning assembly where the kids were able to test out the new trikes and two children received new bicycles, donated by Walmart.

 

Golden K members have worked with the preschoolers throughout the year and noticed that the kids could use some new trikes. Patricia Wedel set out on a mission to find a partner willing to help them make the generous donation. After several rejections from various foundations, Patricia was able to get in touch with Magnate Capital Partners out of Chicago, IL who were willing to be a part of the gift. 

 

L.P. Waters Principal, Judy Evans, as well as the rest of the school were surprised to receive the news of the donation on Wednesday afternoon. The trikes will be used in the annual tricycle parade for Drug Free Greenville as well as other events.
