HEC Graduates 14 Students on Friday, Nov. 7th

The Houston Education Center, New Horizons, graduated 14 students on Friday, Nov. 7th, during their fall graduation ceremony at 11 a.m. The graduates listened to the wise words and advice of guest speaker, Dallas Mavericks lead coach, Val Rhodes and were presented with their diplomas in frames, donated by Atmos Energy, by Houston Education Center Principal, Chip Gregory. The November 2014 graduates were:
 
Margarita Aguilar, Leana Alvarez, Hector Bravo, Joel Castro, Loring Clemens, Manuel Garza, Prisca Modzinu-Kuse, Trevor Moniz, Adrian Pagan, Briana Pitts, Alejandro Rico, Evan Shatney, Jasmine Thomas, Kyle Wacasey.
 
Several students received scholarship money as well.The $200 Chris Sparger Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Margarita Aguilar. The $200 Atmos Energy Employees of Greenville was awarded to Hector Bravo and Margarita Aguilar. The $500 Yvonne Pannell Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Prisca Modzinu-Kuse.
