On Saturday, October 31st, the Greenville High School Iron Cowboys made the early morning trip into Richardson seeking to surpass their performance from the previous weekend at the Greenville VEX “Nothing But Net” League.
Team 4148A’s award-winning robot exceeded expectations in the qualification rounds with a record of 5-1-0. The team came in at fourth seed for the elimination rounds. Team 4148A went on to be selected by the number two seeded alliance, Warrior Robotics 4004, from Apache, OK. Both teams agreed to select team 5408X from Sachse, Tex. This combination of 4004, 4148A, and 5408X proved unstoppable in the elimination rounds, where the alliance ultimately went undefeated.
