The Greenville High School 'Lion Pride' Band competed at the Northeast Texas Marching Invitational at Texas A&M University-Commerce. It was a day full  of music with bands performing from 9 a.m until 4:15 p.m.

"Our students had a very strong prelims performance," said Director of Bands Joel Weisberg.

"We scored a 1st division rating, and the GHS Band tied for 2nd place in class 5A," he said.

Moving into the finals, the band performed with a professional flair and ended the competition in 7th place out of 21.
