In honor of October as Breast Cancer Awareness month, the Flaming Flashes participated in the annual kick-off walk for Breast Cancer Awareness at The Women's Center of Greenville. The team walked and released balloons in memory of Leah Rita Tillotson, a former GISD Teacher and GISD School Board Member, and in honor of Mrs. Sandra Butler Marak, a former GISD teacher.
