Opening doors to Greenville history

If you visit the Greenville Middle School library, you'll take a walk down memory lane, Lisa Aly's memory lane, in particular.

Aly, who serves as library media paraprofessional at the school, grew up in Greenville. And when the holidays roll around, so do a flood of fond memories.

Aly decided to share some of those moments by wrapping the library doors with memorabilia ranging from her son's baseball cap to a homecoming program and a diploma from 1979, signed by former GISD Superintendent Wesley Martin and former GHS Principal Bill Walters.

"I was inspired by the experience of growing up in Greenville, and I wanted to share a bit of history with the staff and students at the school," Aly said.

What better way to say "I'll Be Home for Christmas?"
