NJROTC cadets share their experiences

Members of the Greenville High School NJROTC shared their summer camp experiences during the quarterly meeting of the Military Officers of America (MOAA).

The NJROTC unit at Greenville HS sent more than 40 cadets to one of four camps. The camps included Basic Leadership camp for beginning level cadets, Leadership Academy for more senior cadets, and a mini-boot camp for incoming freshman or new cadets.

Additionally, for the first year ever, Greenville HS NJROTC sent members of its 10 Meter Three Position Air Rifle team to San Antonio for marksmanship camp.

Greenville is unique among most units as all cost for camps are provided via donations or other support from the community and community organizations. Cadets are never charged to attend these selective camps. The MOAA is one of the unit’s most generous benefactors.

We are so proud of our cadets!
