Congratulations to our Greenville High School students for their outstanding performance on the ACT!

Greenville ISD received scores today, and we are proud to announce that GHS students outperformed the state in every single testing category and content area. 

"Our students are thriving academically and socially, and it shows in their everyday work and their performance on the ACT,” said GHS Principal Heath Jarvis. “These ACT scores are just one indicator of the great things happening at our school.”

GISD Superintendent Dr. Demetrus Liggins sent a note of appreciation to GHS teachers today:

“I just wanted to take a moment to say THANK YOU for all the hard work you do each and every day to impact our students, their learning, and ultimately, their futures,” he wrote. “I could not be more proud of you – our teachers and staff, and our students!  Results such as these only happen when there is a commitment to excellence, high expectations for all students and staff, and a caring school environment that lets kids know they are loved.  You are making a difference and you are appreciated – immensely!”
