As chilly weather approaches, we are sending a reminder about our inclement weather and school closing procedures. 

If bad weather is predicted at the beginning of the day, we will assess the conditions and immediately notify parents and employees if school will be closed or delayed. If bad weather occurs during the school day, we will assess conditions to see if an early release would be advisable.

Alerts will be announced via:

• Text messages: Parents entered their cell phone numbers during online registration. To verify that your cell phone number is entered correctly, please check your Skyward account.

• Local media (Fox 4, NBC5, ABC8,CBS11 and Hunt County radio – 105.9 FM, 93.5 FM, 1400 AM)

Unless you receive a cancellation message by 6 a.m., please assume it is a normal school day.
