Carver students receive HUGE blessings from Trusted World

Michael Garrett with Trusted World surprised Carver Elementary with more than $21,000 in food, drinks, underwear, socks, school supplies, books, and backpacks to 80 Carver Elementary students.

Whitney Threatt, Social Worker with Communities In Schools & site coordinater for Carver said the project started as a hygiene drive organized by Danielle Carter and David Garrett, students from Texas A&M Commerce. When Michael Garrett, father of David Garrett, heard that the drive was not enough to give all 80 of the targeted students these items, he stepped in and gave more than anyone could have ever been imagined.

"We are overwhelemed with the generousity of Mr. Garrett and his company." Whitney Threatt shared.  "Our kids deserved this so much, and this will have such a huge impact on them."

GISD & Carver Elementary students and faculty thank Michael Garret and Trusted World for their generous donation.  You have made the holiday much brighter for our kids!
