Want to have your picture taken with a 250-pound champion fighter who never sweats?

Then come by Greenville High School to meet Bite Force, the reigning national Battle Bot champ!

The fighting robot will be on display in the GHS CTE atrium during the following times:

4-9 p.m. Friday
2-8 p.m. Saturday

"This is a unique opportunity -- battle bots are very rarely on public display," District Robotics Director Adrienne Emerson said. "Bite Force is from Mountain View, California, and it is the current Battle Bots champ. Innovation First International (IFI) sponsors the team behind Bite Force, and they are lending the robot to us to show off at the high school. While everyone is here, we also invite them to come by the robotics arena to see our kids at work on our new robot."

IFI is the long-time sponsor of the GHS Robowranglers, one of the top teams in the country.

"IFI is the diriving force behind the success and sustainability of our program. We couldn't do it without them," Emerson said.
