Tune in at 7:30 a.m. Thursday morning to KGVL (105.9FM and 1400 AM) to hear Suzuki Strings students perform and to catch up on the latest GISD news from Dr. Demetrus Liggins.

This is the debut of the Lion Pride, which will feature Dr. Liggins twice a month (the first and third Thursdays). The Lion Pride update is presented by Lonny J and the Morning Cafe.

"We love letting our community know about our incredible students and letting them show off their talents on the radio," Dr. Liggins said. "What better way to kick off the show than with beautiful classical music performed by our Suzuki Strings students? Greenville is so blessed to have a Suzuki Strings program.
