L3 President tours GHS robotics arena
President of the RMS Sector and Greenville Site Executive for L3 ISR Systems Greenville, Bill Irby, GHS freshman Lukas Pride, Robowranglers Director Adrienne Emerson, GISD Superintendent Dr. Demetrus Liggins, and L3 Public Relations Representative Brad Press enjoyed an impromptu tour of the Robowranglers arena March 27.
Greenville High School was proud to host L3 leaders on Wednesday to discuss their partnership and to show them around the Robowranglers arena.
Freshman Lukas Pride and Robowranglers Director Adrienne Emerson took President of L3's RMS Sector and Greenville Site Executive Bill Irby, GISD Superintendent Dr. Demetrus Ligins, and L3 Public Relations Representative Brad Press on an impromptu tour.
"We highly value our partnership with L3," Dr. Liggins said. "It's the perfect partnership, really. We are preparing our students for innovative roles in the workforce, and L3 is doing incredibly innovative work."
Several L3 engineers mentor the Robowranglers.
"I don't know what we'd do without them," Emerson said. "We have L3 mentors who have remained involved with our team and our work long after their children have graduated."
