On September 3, Cadets Benjamin Butcher and Jasmine Bellotte, were honored for exceptional leadership by the Military Order of World Wars in Dallas, Texas.

Cadet Benjamin Butcher was selected for the venerated Patrick Henry Bronze Award based on his performance during the NJROTC senior leadership course held this summer. Butcher was chosen as the top male cadet among all cadets participating in the senior level event.

Jasmine Bellotte earned this special award based on her performance at the MOWW sponsored Youth Leadership Conference held in June at the University of Texas, Dallas. Cadet Bellotte was selected as a top leader by her peers during the weeklong conference. Her experience in NJROTC and as the Colonel of the Flaming Flashes served her well as she outperformed some of the top students in the state.

Congratulations to these two GHS Cadets!
