This past Saturday, the Lion Pride Band percussion section participated in the 2019 Plano Drumline Competition at Clark Stadium. This day-long event highlighted the many outstanding percussion sections all across the North/East Texas areas.

The GHS percussion line performed music from their UIL Show 'Step Right Up' featuring excerpts from Under the  Big Top, Greatest Show on Earth and Cirque du Rouge.

Featured with our drumline were baritone soloists Jimi Parsons, Lane Wofford and Luis Garcia. Mr. Holmes also featured Miranda Price on the Flute and Jordan Moore on the alto saxophone.

Our drumline finished in sixth place, three places higher than last year!

Congratulations to captains Katy Duncan, Landon Fry, and Riley Adams...and the entire percussion section!!!
