This past Saturday the GHS Lion Pride Band competed at UIL Area and made Area finals for the first time in school history!

Out of twenty-three bands at Area, the top 10 advanced to finals and Greenville placed sixth in the prelims.

The band performed their finals show at 10:00 p.m. Saturday night and placed ninth.  The top five bands advanced to state.

The students had a great performance and the band made history!
