Are you a grammar geek and spelling freak? Then have we got a fun evening for you!
Mark your calendar for 6:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28 for the eighth annual adult spelling bee, a fun evening of competition, dinner and drinks! And, as a fund-raiser for the Greenville Educational Enrichment Foundation, it's for a honey of a cause! The event will be held at Innovation First International, 6725 W. FM 1570, Greenville, TX 75402.
"Bee Innovative is the theme, and we're thrilled to be partnering with Innovation First International again this year," said Spelling Bee Chair and GEEF Treasurer Penni Perkins. "They are hosting the event and have been such generous supporters of GEEF and the school district for many years."
Each team has three members, so grab two buddies and go for the W-I-N. The deadline to sign up a team is Feb. 19. Or just buy a ticket (also available at the door) and join in the fun. Trophies for 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place and Best Team Name/Best Team Costume will be awarded

Those donating $2,500 or more may specify the focus area of the grant funding (ex. a certain campus, subject area, etc.).
