UIL announces athletic realignment for the next 2 years

Texas' University Interscholastic League revealed the athletic realignments Monday. The realignment determines districts for football, basketball, volleyball and all other sports for the 2020-21 and 2021-22 school years. The districts are based on the schools' student populations.
 
Here are the details for Greenville High School:
 
Football: GHS will be in District 8 (5A, Division 2). We will play:
 
  • Corsicana
  • Crandall
  • Ennis
  • Forney
  • North Forney
  • Royse City
  • Sulphur Springs

Basketball, volleyball and all other sports: GHS will be in District 13 (5A). We will play:
 
  • Crandall
  • Dallas Highland Park
  • Forney
  • Mesquite Poteet
  • North Forney
  • Royse City
  • West Mesquite

"We look forward to some great competition over the next two years, and we are glad to be playing in a district that will allow travel convenient for our student athletes and fans," GISD Athletic Director and Head Football Coach Darren Duke said.
