As many of you are well aware, Greenville ISD is in the process of hiring a new Athletic Director/Head Football Coach. Below, please find an outline of the hiring process to date:

•          November/December – A review and interview committee was established.

•          December 13th – The Board of Trustees were updated on the current list of applicants.

•          January 5th - GISD Athletic Booster Club Officers were briefed and updated.

•          January 10th and January 17th – The Board of Trustees were updated on the process.

On January 23rd, a public meeting will be conducted for all parents and interested community members in the High School Auditorium beginning at 6pm. All are welcome to come and voice their opinions and receive an update on the hiring process.

Final review committee meetings will be held the week of January 23rd and the interview process will begin on February 3rd. The Athletic Director/Head Football Coach recommendation will be made to the Board on or before February 21st.
