Greenville ISD is excited to announce that Jennifer Beck has been named Director of Bands for Greenville ISD!

Ms. Beck has served as assistant band director for the GHS Lion Pride Band for the past two years.  This year, both GHS bands earned Superior ratings in UIL competitions and brought home a SWEEPSTAKES trophy for receiving across the board first division ratings. This marks the third year in a row our band has earned a sweepstakes.

Growing up in Carrollton, Ms. Beck attended Hebron High School and was a four-year member of the Texas Tech marching band.  Her career began as an assistant band director for Denver City ISD and then for Seguin High School before coming to Greenville in the fall of 2018. 

“I would like to thank the band directors, as well as the band parents, students, GISD staff and administration, for all of their support this year," Beck said. "Our students have such a heart for the Lion Pride Band, and that's a large part of what makes this my dream job.”
