It's time to sign up for the 2020-21 school year!

We are looking forward to the new school year, which will begin Aug. 17. Our students and staff will resume teaching and learning in a new way: with an in-person option and a virtual at-home option for all students.

During the online process, Greenville ISD families will select from two options for their children, full-time in-person learning or full-time virtual at-home learning. Online registration will open July 6, and we ask parents to select the best option that will work for them and their families.  You will be asked to indicate the option you most prefer during online registration.

Pre-K: If you have a student who will be 3 or 4 by Sept. 1, it's time to sign up for Pre-Kindergarten at L.P. Waters! We have wonderful teachers who work with our students to learn to read, write, play, draw, sing and learn about why character counts. To learn more about Pre-K requirements, click HERE.

Kindergarten: If you have a student who will be 5 by Sept. 1, it's time to sign up for kindergarten! Click HERE to find your attendance zone.  

All students (Pre-K-12): We can't wait to welcome you back to school Aug. 17! GISD's online registration makes the process convenient for everyone. For those who have computers and internet access, here's a step-by-step guide to help you through the process.

• GISD's phone help deskis open July 6-9. Call 903-408-4430. Hours are 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.
• GISD's in-person help deskis open July 13-16. Call 903-457-2500 to schedule appointment so that we can ensure safety protocols. 
• GISD's campuses will open July 27, and there will be staff there to answer questions in person, on the phone or via email.

Deadline: Our goal is to have most new and returning students signed up by Thursday, July 16, in plenty of time to prepare for the first day of school Monday, Aug. 17. Thank you for signing up your child for the new school year. We can't wait to see everyone!
