Greenville ISD is adjusting the daily start and end times for the 2020-2021 school year. These changes will create an extended school day that will allow more time for academic instruction and enrichment activities. We are also sharing this announcement with parents and community members.
- Elementary (PK-6) 7:35 a.m. – 3:25 p.m.
- Middle School (7-8) 7:55 a.m. – 3:45 p.m.
- High School (9-12) 8:10 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- GAEP - Grades 7-8 7:50 a.m. – 3:40 p.m.
- GAEP - Grades 9-12 7:35 a.m. – 3:25 p.m.
Thanks to the 1,150 parents and employees who responded to the planning survey and provided comments. The survey offered two options and "Other." Option 1 (the hours listed above) was the top choice, with 57% of respondents picking it. Option 2 was chosen by 39% of respondents, and "Other" was chosen by 4%.
