Robowranglers Win Midwestern Regional Tournament

Congratulations to the Midwestern Regional Champion Robowranglers!

The Robowranglers finished the qualifying rounds 8-3 and were ranked #2 overall. They were picked for the eliminations by the number 1 team, #16 the Baxter Bomb Squad from Mountain Home, AR. They then partnered with number 2022, the Titan Robotics, from Aurora, IL. The Robowranglers won every match in the eliminations and became the regional champions. In the final rounds, their robot did not miss a single ball when it shot! The skeleton team of students worked so hard all weekend and Adrienne Emerson, Robotics Coach says, "I couldn't be prouder. I have never in my robotics career been more proud of a regional win. This is widely recognized as the most competitive regional in the country and to come here and win is incredible. We also won the best website award and the quality award which is given to the best overall robot."

The travel team consisted of Connor Mulkey, Amy Yznaga, Anna Morgan, Alex Cartier, Cody Horton, Randy Larsen, Caleb Byran, Camden Dewberry, Carlos Perez, and Luke Follett. Teachers were Adrienne Emerson and George Kroncke. College mentors were Kevin Morris, Colin Doby and Dillon Row.  IFI mentors were Jeff Waegelin and Ricky Quinones. L3 mentors wer  Monty Wineinger, Steve Maxwell and Chris Horne.
