Greenville High School Choir recently took three groups to the UIL competition in Canton, Texas. The GHS, Non-Varsity Girls received “Excellent” on stage and in sight-reading. Varsity Treble and Varsity Mixed received “Superior” on stage and “Excellent” in sight-reading. Varsity Women received “Superior” on stage and “Excellent” in sight-reading. The choirs brought home two new trophies. GHS Choir Director, Jordan Ricks, stated, “We were one out of only a small handful of choirs to receive superior ratings. The kids worked very hard. I'm proud of them and they deserve this honor.”
