Watching the weather? So are we!
With the potential for inclement weather, we are preparing for the possibility of switching to virtual at-home learning. In preparation, technology devices will be sent home with students and staff on Wednesday, Feb. 10.
According to the forecasts, Thursday and Friday are the most likely days to seriously consider canceling in-person classes. We will make a decision about whether to hold school as usual or switching to online learning by 6 a.m. Thursday and Friday morning. We will make an announcement either way on the following channels:
- GISD website
- Lion Pride app
- Social media (Facebook and Twitter)
- Emails to parents and staff
- Text messages to parents
