Local engineers from L3Harris joined some of our secondary STEM/Engineering classes virtually this week and last to celebrate Engineers Week 2021.  Engineers Week is dedicated to increasing the understanding and interest in engineering and technology careers. 

The lead engineer for the project was L3Harris Senior Associate Cierra Ramon, and she had this to say about the virtual event:

“One of the highlights of our year is partnering with Greenville ISD for Engineering Week classroom visits,” she said. “Our engineers love getting to share information about the industry, the career options it provides and most importantly get students excited about the possibilities within engineering! It is our privilege to meet with these students and inspire the next generation of engineers.”
