Come grow with us: GISD drive-thru kindergarten roundup set for May 7

If you have a little one who will be 5 by September 1, 2021, you’ll want to sign him or her up for our outstanding kindergarten program.

This year, we're making the first step easier than ever by making kindergarten roundup a drive-thru event.

Kindergarten is important to getting your child the right start in life. We have wonderful, caring teachers who make learning lots of fun!

What: K Roundup (age 5 as of Sept. 1, 2021)

When: 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, May 7

Where: Wesley Martin Administration Building, 4004 Moulton St.

Details: Save your child’s spot for kindergarten without ever getting out of your car! Just bring the documents listed below:

Official Birth Certificate
Immunization Records
Social Security Card
Proof of Residency (utility bill or lease agreement only)
Parent ID

If your child is already enrolled in the 4-year-olds' Pre-K program at L.P. Waters Early Childhood Educational Center, you do not need to attend kindergarten roundup. Your child will advance to kindergarten, and you’ll only need to update your child’s information during GISD’s annual online registration in July.
