We're planning for May testing, and we are taking measures to accommodate social distancing for all students taking STAAR tests.
All kindergarten, first- and second-grade students will switch to asynchronous at-home learning Tuesday, May 11 through Friday, May 14 while the other students are taking their assessments.
We are offering in-person instruction and activities for K-2 students from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at the GISD Service Center, 9315 Jack Finney Blvd. If you have a K-2 student and will need childcare assistance May 11 through 14, please fill out this survey.

For the same reason, seventh- and eighth-grade students will switch to asynchronous at-home learning during the days the students in the other grade are taking their assessments.
