The GISD school board will be interviewing candidates to serve as a trustee until the next election, which will be in May of 2022. 

Interested candidates must reside in District 3 (see MAP). The position requires a significant commitment of time, including attending School Board meetings and required training. Additional requirements are listed in this article and this article.

If you are interested in serving as trustee for District 3, please email a letter of interest and other relevant information you would like for the School Board to consider to gisdboard@greenvilleisd.com by noon on Monday, May 10. 

The School Board will conduct interviews of interested candidates on Tuesday, May 11.
