Lamar Elementary fourth-grader Rosalee Williams’ artwork was chosen for this year’s GISD employee birthday card! Rosalee created her piece depicting a sunrise in art teacher Lindsay Plunkett’s class. Mrs. Plunkett said the class was studying color theory, and Rosalee was inspired to capture the sunrise using warm colors and the ocean using cool colors.
