We are so proud of our seniors! Every week, we are sharing a picture and story about a member of the GHS Class of 2022.
Emma Woods has been a student in GISD since kindergarten where she was a proud Bowie Bulldog. Her academic interests in high school include Math and English and she enjoys being a member of UIL One-Act play, art club, running cross-country and National Honor Society. Outside of her school activities, Emma enjoys being involved in her church Creekside Church of Christ youth group and contributing to the church newsletter, as well as reading, sewing and writing.
Emma’s favorite memory as a student at GHS is receiving a medal from her cross-country coach for running her first 5K and winning a medal for second place during a cross-country meet. After graduation, Emma plans to attend Harding University in Searcy, AR and study psychology.
Emma is proud that her parents Robert and Marla Woods are teachers in Greenville ISD.
This Senior Spotlight is brought to you compliments of the GHS Counseling Department.
Thank you, counselors, for sharing the amazing stories about our students and their plans for the future.
