The Golden Lions enjoyed a scrumptious meal prepared by the GHS Culinary Arts students and served by GISD principals and district leaders. They applauded student performers, including Suzuki Strings students, and the GHS Encore Choir.

Superintendent Sharon Boothe presented a State of the District report that highlighted the district's many innovative initiatives. Students shared their experiences about their studies in Dual Language, Cosmetology, Early College High School, and GISD's many Career Technical Education programs.

Golden Lions were also invited to all our home athletic and fine arts events, where they receive free admission with their gold cards.
