GHS Key Club member help build ramp

This weekend, a 13-man team made up of GHS Key Club students and members of the Greenville Golden Kiwanis Club built a 30-foot wheelchair ramp for a Greenville couple. Key Club members participating included:

  • Tisha Pradhan
  • Riley Carter
  • Noah Daugherty
  • Chris Strickland

This is the 400th ramp the Golden K’s have built since the Texas Ramp project began in 2009.  We are so very proud of these students for giving their free time to serve others in our community.  Thank you, Golden K’s for providing opportunities and being the example to follow!

A special thanks to two Golden Kiwanis charter members Tom McAllister and Cliff Riggins who have been on almost all of the 400 ramp builds.  Also, a big thank you to Hunt Memorial Hospital District Tobacco Fund, Hunt County United Way and Dee and Mary Jean Hilton for the financial support and the warehouse over all these years. Thanks also to the many citizens of Hunt County who have contributed funding to the effort over all these years. Onward toward to five hundred!
