Rebekah Russler has been named Chancellor for the Early College High School. Rebekah Russler has been named Chancellor for the Early College High School.

“I am excited for this chance to serve the teachers and students of Greenville Early College High School.” Russler said. “This role aligns with my love of learning and passion for helping others grow personally and academically. I look forward to being a part of the future success of GECHS.”  

Ms. Russler has been in education for sixteen years. She started her career in education in Frisco ISD as a middle school English Language Arts teacher. She went on to teach for seven years in Commerce ISD, where she also served as a mentor teacher and team lead. Ms. Russler joined the Greenville Lions team in 2016 as a Literacy Coach. She went on to work as an Instructional Strategist. For the last four years, Ms. Russler has served as the GISD Continuing Education Coordinator and has taught Educational Psychology for Paris Junior College through Greenville Early College High School.  

Ms. Russler is an avid reader, writer, and lifelong learner. She is passionate about growing herself and others. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University-Commerce. She earned a master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Dallas Baptist University. She is currently earning her doctorate in K-12 Educational Leadership from Dallas Baptist University and is scheduled to complete her defense this fall.  

She and her family live in Greenville, and they also enjoy spending time at their farm in Commerce. Her daughter, Morgan Grace, will be two this summer and is their pride and joy. Ms. Russler also serves as a member of Aglaia Women’s Culture Club, focusing on community service and educational scholarship projects.
